Here is the detailed schedule for the 2012 Princeton-Manipal Collaborative Workshop on Engaged Anthropology.
What it is about:
This workshop at Manipal is the first part of a series of workshops on collaborative anthropology which is aimed at bringing together scholars from India, North America, Russia and Africa to discuss our current understandings of anthropology and questions of ethical pluralism, systems of inequality, and their relevance to social science research methods.
What it is for:
The goals of the workshop are to discuss methods of engaging with human groups and to share concepts learned from Indian contexts with scholars from other parts of the world. It is also an occasion to understand how the individual researcher’s experience and interests contribute to the way the anthropological research community works.
Where: Manipal Center for Philosophy and Humanities, Manipal
When: 28-30 October 2012
See you all there!
