All theories were developed or designed to address different issues. The problem is in terms of teaching theory. Lecturers impose theories in students. This is problematic, I feel, because, according to me, all theories are relevant and important. In South Africa, external examiners can dispute the theory behind a thesis and refuse to grade it. So the question arises on what theories we chose to study, and why some are given more importance than others.
