Cosmopolitanism and the Local in Science and Nature

We are glad to announce that SSHRC, Canada has awarded a partnership grant of $2,00,000 for three years for the project 
Cosmopolitanism and the Local in Science and Nature: Creating an East/West Partnership in which MCPH is a partner. The Director of the project is Gordon McOuat, University of King’s College, Canada. The partners and co-applicants are: University of King’s College, Dalhousie University, York University, University of Toronto, University of Alberta, Manipal Centre for Philosophy and Humanities – Manipal University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore. As part of this, there will be an international summer school at MCPH in 2015.
